Which customers, sites, or service lines deserve attention?

Compare revenue with labor, subcontractors, travel, supplies, supervision, rework, and a reasonable view of shared overhead.

Where is complexity consuming margin?

Review exceptions, extra visits, dispatch and supervisor time, vendor coordination, and customer-specific requirements instead of relying only on company-wide margin.

Can reporting keep up with multiple services and locations?

Standardize identifiers and handoffs across scheduling, payroll, purchasing, invoicing, and accounting so management can review consistent information.

These examples show the structure I use to turn operating information into a financial decision. Use the free version yourself or ask me to customize the work around your actual business.

How I would approach the work.

I start with the decision the owner needs to make, then identify the financial and operating information needed to answer it. I work with the existing bookkeeper, office team, and advisers to connect the records with the way the business actually operates. The result may be a forecast, profitability review, management report, workflow improvement, or training—not a software change for its own sake.

A defined project can cover a profitability review, cash forecast, growth-decision model, reporting redesign, workflow improvement, or another agreed deliverable. Ongoing fractional CFO support starts at $5,000 per month. Project fees are quoted for the agreed scope; the monthly starting price is not a project minimum.

Scope, responsibilities, deliverables, payment terms, and any separate software costs are agreed before work begins.
